Carrizo Plains Nat. Monument: Resource Mgmt.

The Carrizo Plains National Monument Draft Resource Management Plan...considers four alternatives. The primary issues addressed include: recreation, protection of sensitive natural and cultural resources, livestock grazing; guidance for energy and mineral development, motorized vehicle route designation, and other planning issues.
 

National Park Mountain Bicycle Rule

This rule proposes to amend current regulations for designating bicycle use on National Park lands. It achieves a primary benefit of the special regulation process while eliminating the other steps of rulemaking deemed unnecessary.
