Forest Historian Will Speak in Glendora

The Angeles Volunteer Association invites members of the public to attend its meeting on Thursday, May 1. Our special guest speaker will be Prof. Char Miller who is author of the book Gifford Pinchot and the Making of Modern Environmentalism. Prof. Miller is regarded as an expert on American environmental history.

New Management Plan, Sequoia National Monument

Because the Giant Sequoia National Monument is a unique treasure of international interest, it deserves the very best planning approach possible. We expect the scoping period to last up to one year during which there will be a variety of meetings and workshops.
